Mercedes Benz may tie up with Aston Martin to develop future Maybach?

According to recent developments in the world car market, German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is searching for alliance with an aim of developing future Maybach models. Reports further suggest that Mercedes Benz is holding talks with British car maker Aston Martin for developing a concept car which would be showcased at the Frankfurt motor show later this year.

The American car maker Maybach is known for manufacturing cars with hi-tech electronic specifications and features which offer extreme comfort to the occupants. If sources are believed, the blueprint of concept car is already on papers, but Mercedes Benz and Aston Martin are not confirming the reports right now.

It is quite obvious that the JV of Aston Martin and Mercedes Benz is capable of delivering a Maybach marvel but it is also possible that concept may hold more Aston Martin touch rather than Maybach. Moreover, German car maker has already started working on the project and created the platform for the new concept car. It is worth mentioning that the Aston Martin alliance with Mercedes Benz is going to prove advantageous for the former as American car maker would be able to glance into Mercedes’ latest alloy body technology and engines.

On the other hand, Mercedes Benz will also get benefited from Aston’s proficiency in manufacturing lightweight performance cars. Insider reports suggest that American giant recently developed new methods to craft high-end interiors for its cars.It is worth mentioning that German automaker is aiming to surpass the current Maybach 57 and 62 models by the end of June. Hence, it is possible to see an official announcement by the company once the project is finalized.
