Mercedes gets an impressive 90-car deal

One of the biggest luxury car manufacturers in India is Mercedes Benz, the German car maker has managed to grab a 90 car deal. Mercedes India recently told that it will sell a armada of 90 specially made Mercedes C class cars to Carzonrent, which is a mobility solution firm. With this deal, Mercedes India has beaten its own record of selling 70 cars three years ago.

The 90 car deal with Carzonrent made Mercedes India the largest car maker with a total navy of more than 160 cars. However, these 90 cars will be used by Carzonrent to serve the high class clients of none other than Emirates Airlines in India.

As per the CEO and MD of Mercedes India, Mr. Peter Honegg, this 90 car deal is pretty similar to the deal which was done in the year 2008, in terms of durability and quality. The previous deal cars'  have been driven for more than 180,000 kms and there are no complaints about them till now. 

Internationally, about 15% of the Mercedes Benz cars, which are sold into an armada process, are not quite widespread in India. Apart from Carzonrent, Mercedes India supplies its cars to only 2 other operators in India. As per the director of marketing and sales of Mercedes India, Mr. Debashis Mitra, a separate section has been made to look after the fleet sales, which will help in increasing the sales growth in the country.
