Mercedes-Benz has introduced the SLS AMG GT Final Edition at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The last slot of the iconic model will be available in a limited series of 350 units as either in a Coupe or a Roadster form. Once 350 units have been built, production of the SLS AMG model series will come to an end.
It will be powered by an AMG V8 6.3-litre front-mid engine that develops a massive 591bhp and 650Nm of peak torque. It takes 3.7 seconds to reach 100kmph from zero, and 11.2 seconds to cross 200kmph mark. The supercar has an electronically limited top speed of 320kmph.
The special design of the SLS AMG GT FINAL EDITION ensures that it stands out in visual terms: the carbon fibre-effect bonnet with central air outlet, the carbon-fibre front splitter on the front apron, the fixed carbon-fibre rear aerofoil that is so reminiscent of the SLS AMG Coupé Black Series and the exclusive AMG forged light-alloy wheels make it a real head-turner. It sports an AMG forged light-alloy wheels available with two finishes- matter black with high-sheen rim flange or matte black with high-sheen finish. The front wheel measures 19-inch, while the rear has 20-inch.
Inside the cabin, the special edition features the designo Exclusive leather with a diamond pattern and silver stitching contrasting with the black leather upholstery. It also sports standard carbon fibre trim, back floor mats and silver seat belts. The carbon fibre center console gets a unique numbered badge.
