The mid-size SUV from MG is expected to cost between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 20 lakh

- It will be offered in four variants: Style, Super, Smart, Sharp.
- MG has over 60 dealerships and around 120 touchpoints (sales + service) right now.
- Minimum booking amount for the Hector is Rs 50,000.
MG Motor will announce the prices of the Hector on 27 June and start deliveries of the mid-size SUV shortly after that from its 63 outlets in India. Bookings for the Hector are already open with minimum booking amount set at Rs 50,000.
The Hector will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit capable of churning out 143PS of maximum power. This engine will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The petrol-manual powertrain will also be available with 48V mild-hybrid tech and this combination is 1.65kmpl more efficient as per MG’s claims. The diesel engine will be a 2.0-litre unit capable of developing 170PS of maximum power. It will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission only. MG Motor will offer the Hector in four variants: Style (base variant), Super, Smart and Sharp (top variant). Variant-wise powertrain options are as follows:

Features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, ESC, traction control and hill-hold control will be on offer as standard on the Hector. The top Sharp variant will include features like panoramic sunroof, heated ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, powered tailgate, 360-degree surround view camera and six airbags.
