The MG fast-charging coverage is limited to just 7 cities for now but expect it grow as EV infrastructure expands. Since the India-spec model of the ZS EV is expected to feature the same CSS and Type 2 ports, it should be rechargable from any compatible fast-charging station, similar to the Hyundai Kona Electric. However, fast charging is not the only way to charge up MG will offer a home charger too, which would take over 6 hours to replenish the battery.

On a full charge, the MG ZS EV is expected to have a claimed range of over 400km. The electric motor produces 150PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Hybrid and regular combustion engine variants of the ZS compact SUV are expected to be introduced in India later on while the India-spec ZS EV is due to make its debut in December 2019.
The MG ZS EV is expected to be offered in feature-loaded variants with a starting price of around Rs 20 lakh. Its only rival at launch, as a long-range EV, would be the Hyundai Kona while the 2020 Tata Nexon EV is expected to offer a range of up to 300km.
