New Audi Q7 to launch

Audi, German premier car maker, has announced to launch its new Audi Q7 in India. This sports utility vehicle (SUV) is to come in three engine variants. These three variants will be available in 11 stunning colours. The price tag of these variants will be Rs 55.2 lakh, Rs 53.4 lakh and Rs 29.9 lakh in Maharashtra. The new Audi Q7 will be loaded with smart features which include a voice control that allows the driver to operate a cellphone or music system by just calling out the name of a song or a phone number. Apart from this, It also has adaptable headlights that switch on or off according to the moves of the car, showing the path ahead. With up to seven seats, the Audi Q7 boasts of luggage space of about 2,035 litres. Audi India managing director Benoit Tiers hopes to sell 1500 units of Audi in the country with the new launch. In the first 8 months of the current year, the company managed to sell 1,128 cars that shows 62 per cent growth. Audi is mulling over to extend the dealer network from 12 to 18 by 2010-11. The targeted cities are Jaipur, Nagpur, Lucknow and Coimbatore. Tata is also gearing up to launch its Tata Indica Vista IGNIS very soon.
