New BMW X6 to be displayed at Geneva Motor Show followed by global launch in June

After the recent BMW X5 makeover, now it’s the turn of the BMW X6. The German luxury car manufacturer will have the 2012 BMW X6 displayed at the Geneva Motor show in March followed by a launch in the global markets by June, though the details on the new BMW X6 launch in India is still under the wraps. BMW India offers the BMW X6 in three variants, the BMW X6 xDrive 50i, the petrol variant; BMW X6 xDrive 30d, the diesel variant and the BMW X6M, the petrol automatic variant. Lookswise, the redesigned grille proffer a new definition to the new BMW X6 with the proper replacement of the fog lamps symmetrically just under the horizontally elongated headlamps carrying the same brilliant sparkle from before to put the new SUV is a different league.

The revamped BMW X6 xDrive50i as of now will have huge makeover along the exteriors with three new colours adding to the current colour options in Marrakech Brown Metallic, Orion Silver metallic and Midnight Blue metallic colors apart from the new 19” alloy wheels to drive the new car. The LED lamps is offered as an option to give an additional brilliance to lustrous headlamps though integrated into the tail-lamps at the rear end to have a huge revamp in appearance combined with an ergonomic ramp up.

The BMW X6 M will have the LED lamps as a standard with new aluminium brake callipers to give a boost to the car ergonomically and rumoured to have an 8-speed automatic gearbox as well. The BMW X6 xDrive 30d is not just skin deep but an inside out makeover creeping in to the engine department of the car with a huge help from the BMW M division worked for a better performance on the 3.0 L 6 cylinder engine powering the BMW X6 diesel.
