New Concept cars displayed at the Detroit Motor Show

The North American International Show is considered as one of the world’s best auto shows. The Detroit Motor Show 2012 has been opened to public since 14th January and would go on till 22nd January 2012. It is absolute no surprise that big daddies of the global auto industry fight it out to display their new concept cars at the show. This time around, there were ample of concept vehicles on the display. One of the most fun concepts at the show was the electric model of the Smart, which was evolved into a pick-up truck although on a small scale.
The four-wheeler has the ability to carry 2 passengers and could charge 2 smart e-bikes in its shipping area. Toyota Motors was also not behind at the North American International show and showcased its new concept car which is expected to be developed further within next 5 years. This new concept car is known as Toyota NS4 and has been created with the latest technology accompanied with aerodynamic features. The Toyota NS4 surely puts Toyota Motors in the eco-game.
Volkswagen came up with the Volkswagen E-Bugster, which is an electric car and is a great combination of modern and vintage era. On the other hand, Nissan introduced Nissan Pathfinder, which is a revamped version of Pathfinder and features new platform and is expected to go on the floors by the end of this year. Another interesting offering at the Detroit Auto Show was Volvo XC60, which fits in a powerful engine and is a 4x4 drive. All these new cars surely impressed the audience there.
