Nissan aims eight percent global share by 2017

Sources have reported that the Japanese carmaker Nissan Motor is aiming to cater a global market share of upto 8 percent by the end of March 2017 and during the same time, Nissan Motors also want to hike their operational profit margin to 8 per cent.To bring the plan in practice, company has formulated some strategies and as per the latest updates, Nissan Motors has released its midterm business plan on Monday which clearly states that to achieve the target, company needs to launch on an average, one car every six weeks for over six years.

Earlier Nissan Motors was operating in a joint venture with Renault Motors, but this venture was diluted in 1999 pushing Nissan Motors into jeopardy, then the Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn has led Nissan through four growth plans turning the near-bankrupt company into one of the most profitable one in the auto industry.

In line with launching new cars in India, the awaited one is Nissan Sunny, which is a V-Platform sedan car, expected to roar on Indian roads by the last quarter of this year. Estimated price of Nissan Sunny is between Rs 6.8 to Rs 7 lakh. Sources have revealed that Nissan Sunny would be available in two variants viz. 1.6 petrol version and a diesel version. Nissan India has however not yet unveiled the actual price of Nissan Sunny as it is the key in their hand to compete with other sedans such as Honda City, Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta and Fiat Linea. However, as per the reports, Nissan India would certainly price its new car, Nissan Sunny above its hatchback car, Nissan Micra so as to avoid any trespass in the price range.

Nissan Sunny features encompass auto-folding mirrors, start-stop button, rear AC vents, beige interiors and climate control that make this sedan car stand out of the bunch. Nissan Sunny is also expected to delay the introduction of the auto transmission option due to the mileage factors. Basically, Nissan wants to focus economy and price for its new Nissan Sunny.
