It is a well known fact, that Nissan Micra doesn’t have very high sales and to amplify its sales, Nissan is working meticulously to develop a strategy. Nissan right now sells much less than 2000 units of Nissan Micras in India. On the other hand, about 80% of the 1 Lakh sales of Nissan Micra comes from exports. As per the executive Vice President of Nissan India, Dr. Andy Palmer, the firm is planning to take up some initiatives in the coming months to improve the awareness and brand building. The basic reason of the low sales of Nissan Micra is the lack of awareness for it in India as this car has received raving reviews overseas.
