Nissan hints at the big plans for the American car market

Nissan, the Japanese auto maker has surprises in store for the American car market. The company is planning to roll out five new models by the latter half of 2013. At the ongoing New York Auto Show the company has teased five new models, all were under covers however, for the hard core auto fans it is not hard to identify the models under the sheets. Starting with the extreme left one is the hatchback Versa which is slight bit different from its sedan counterpart Nissan Sunny (Nissan Versa is a rebadged Sunny). The car that is juxtaposed to Versa is Nissan Pathfinder- the concept car of the crossover was on display recently.

The one is the middle is the most important car for the Nissan American portfolio, the 2013 Altima. The car was unveiled at the New York Auto Show, and is expected to drive in July. Then shifting to the right side the one next to Altima is most likely the next gen Rogue while the right hand corner position is grabbed by the all new Sentra which in looks is akin to Altima- however when you talk about styling, it will be more aggressive than Altima which are discernable even though the wraps. Nissan Indian car fans might have to wait for these cars, although as Nissan has earlier committed that India is a key market for the company and the company has plans to add many more cars in the Indian portfolio in the coming years. So, one cannot negate the possibility of seeing one of these cars on Indian roads after a while
