Nissan India opens dealerships in Nagpur and Kolkata

Nissan Motor India today announced the opening of its two new dealerships in the cities of Nagpur and Kolkata respectively. In an endeavour to achieve maximum customer outreach, this marks the entry of the first dealerships of the global carmaker in Vidarbha and West Bengal regions respectively. The opening of Navnit Nissan dealership in Nagpur and Chandrani Nissan dealership in Kolkata respectively marks Nissan’s dealership expansion strategy to reach commercial coverage in more than 78% of the national territory. Currently 14 states of the country have Nissan dealerships.

In the process of establishing the Nissan Brand in India, NMIPL - in partnership with Hover Automotive India, its marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm - is rapidly preparing its dealer network structure to support the up-coming growth in the country. The company today has 32 dealers operational across the country and aims to have more than 100 dealers by 2013.
