It will be offered with two 1.0-litre petrol engines: a naturally aspirated unit and a turbocharged one.
-
The 1.0-litre petrol engine from the Triber offers the same performance at 72PS and 96Nm.

Magnite’s 1.0-litre turbo-petrol will offer 100PS and 160Nm but the CVT automatic variant makes slightly less torque, at 152Nm.

The smaller engine claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.75kmpl while the turbo-petrol claims to deliver 20kmpl with the manual.
Nissan is expected to launch its new made-for-India Magnite sub-4m SUV by the end of the year. While the carmaker unveiled the final production-spec model in October, it has now revealed its engine specifications and dimensions.

As expected, the naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is shared with the Renault Triber, has the same output. The new turbo-petrol engine offers 100PS of power and has different torque outputs depending on the transmission. With the 5-speed manual, it offers 160Nm while the CVT automatic option is only slightly detuned to offer 152Nm of torque.
Nissan will be offering the Magnite in five variants. It packs features such as a 360-degree camera view, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and cruise control. It also gets the option of a Tech Pack from the mid-spec XV variant which adds features such as wireless charging, air purifier, JBL sound system, ambient lighting, LED scuff plates and puddle lamps.
