Ford India via official web-site has released a brochure for the compact SUV EcoSport, which revealed some of its advanced features. The company's much-anticipated compact crossover will come with a reverse parking sensor with visual display, keyless entry, push button start and many more. However, the top end variant of EcoSport, Titanium was put on display doesn't have any of these features. Mercedes-Benz GLA revealed Ahead of Shanghai Motor Show
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the GLA compact SUV before its official global debut at the Shanghai Motor Show this month. The compact SUV will compete against the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3. The crossover is based on the company's MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform. The compact SUV has been caught in lenses during test rounds number of times over the last few months, and it is also expected that the production ready version will be put on display at the Motor Show. Fiat has once again included the T-Jet petrol engine to its line-up, and updated its official web-portal. The company had pulled out Fiat Linea T-Jet of the market when company updated the Linea range in 2012. However, it looks like the Italian auto-giant is all ready to introduce the iconic T-Jet engine once again in the Indian auto industry. This has been the company’s most powerful engine in India and it is expected to power the upcoming Abarth Punto. The car is likely to be launched by the end of this year or by early next year. Nissan launches the Sunny CVT
Nissan India has silently launched an automatic variant of its flagship sedan Sunny in India. The automatic version of Sunny is equipped with a Continuously variable Transmission (CVT) supplied by the Japanese auto-major known as the X-Tronic CVT. It is the same automatic transmission that also does duty in its sibling Renault Scala automatic. The CVT transmission is available only in the mid XL variant of the Sunny and is priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh. The engine remains the same, and powered by the 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of generating 97bhp like in the manual version. Read more
