Nissan Teases New Concept Vehicle to be Showcased at Sao Paulo Motor Show

Nissan teased an image of its new concept which will be showcased at the Sao Paulo Motor Show, Brazil starting from October 28. The teaser image suggests that the new vehicle will be an SUV or a crossover. The teaser further image reveals that the concept model will embrace an aggressive ‘V’ grille design with bold chrome surrounding and  boomerang styled front headlights. It also depicts that the Nissan logo is placed in the centre of front grille which is signatory Nissan design character. This new concept will be unveiled on October 28, 2014. 

The press release from Nissan reads, “Prepare yourself for the world premiere of Nissan's new concept car at São Paulo Motor Show 2014 at 8:30 a.m. local time on October 28, 2014.” 

As the rumours afloat, this concept model might be the production model of Extrem concept showcased two years earlier on the same motor show. Extrem concept is based on V-Platform which is also seen in Nissan Micra and Sunny. The model that was showcased at the 2012 São Paulo Motor Show was a three-door coupe with 2+2 seating configuration while it is speculated that this new model might get five-door design with 2+3 seating arrangement. 

By introducing this new SUV, the manufacturer might replace the popular Juke crossover in Brazil which was first showcased as Nissan Qazana concept in Geneva Motor Show, 2009.
