Nissan Ties-up with Radio City for Nissan Fest

Nissan has launched an entertaining and unique promotional campaign called ‘Nissan Fest’ in association with the Radio City Connect team. Visitors to Nissan’s showrooms will be able to enjoy a fun-filled weekend of live shows and antakshari, to tatoos, gaming consoles, darts, raffles, and much more in the run up to the New Year. This initiative will also include RJs from Radio City – conducting their shows LIVE from the dealership. This activity will be held every Saturday and Sunday at a Nissan dealership and will move to different location in a different city the following weekend thus covering the length and breadth of the country.

To add to the festive cheer, Nissan is offering its world class cars at a special price. The premium hatchback Micra is available at Rs 3.99 lacs and its popular sedan ‘Sunny’ at Rs 5.79 lacs. In addition, there are host of other attractive offers and services by Nissan for its esteemed customers. The first-of-its-kind promotional activity will be hosted on weekends from Saturday, December 22 to Sunday, December 30, 2012 across Nissan dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Cochin and Trivandrum.

Commenting on ‘Nissan Fest’, Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director – Sales & Marketing, Hover Automotive India said, “We are delighted to be associated with Radio City, which is among the best FM stations in India. We are confident that this alliance will hugely benefit our dealers and customers in India. Given the curiosity and interest in our products, we decided to engage with our customers to build additional excitement for our brand in India. ‘Nissan Fest’ initiative is one such unique opportunity to build awareness for our brand and also seek valuable insights on our product offerings.”

As part of the initiative, a live studio will be set up at the respective dealerships. Visiting customers of all age groups will be encouraged to participate by airing their talents live on FM. In addition, there will be various activities to keep visitors engaged across all the target groups. Attractive setup, venue décor and inflatables will be set up to add to the visual appeal. Adding to all this excitement, participants have to attend all activities to qualify for the raffle and take home an assured gift. In addition to the activities, there will be live performances and many games and contests to keep the crowds engaged at each of the 19 dealerships. A gaming console and a small car track with turns and curves will be set up. All participants will be asked to drive (virtually) remote controlled (RC) car on the track. Participants who accomplish the task at their best will stand to win the gratification from Nissan.

Through these interactive activities, each potential customer gets an overview on the Nissan heritage, its products and an opportunity to choose a model of their choice. All activities will be linked with the key features of all existing Nissan models. Some of the pre-publicity by Nissan Fest covers posters, radio, direct mailers, and promoters with loudspeakers & leaflets to spread the word.

During this activity, potential customers visiting the Nissan dealerships are offered with a variety of interactive programs like choosing the right Nissan product based on certain set of criteria and personal needs. Apart from the Micra, Sunny and the recently launched Evalia, visitors will also be exposed to Nissan’s versatile range of products like X-Trail, Teana and 370Z.
