Nissan to launch Luxury Infiniti brand in India

Nissan Motor India an arm of Japanese Nissan Motors has planed to cover all the car segment of the Indian auto market. After announcement of 100 dealership network within 3 years in India, another surprise comes that the company is planing to launch its super luxury car brand Infiniti in India. This brand is most popular in overseas markets and now ready to hit the Indian shores very soon which will be major competitor BMW, Mercedes and Audi cars.

 

Shreyans group which will soon be official importer of Maserati, Ferrari, Ducati and Porsche etc. international brands will be importer of this Super Luxury Nissan Infiniti brand. After launching of Nissan Micra, Nissan X-Trail and the Nissan Teana this brand will foray in world's second largest auto market. 

 

The Infiniti brand includes lots of models like Sedan, SUV and other. In India, the company is expecetd to launch a Sedan and a SUV model in two series.  

 

G-series is big Saloons from Nissan Infiniti brand which is major competitor of Mercedes C-Class and BMW 3-series cars. Meanwhile its M-series saloons are an answer to Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5-series.

 

On the other hand its SUV series includes 3 models like Infiniti EX, Infiniti FX an Infiniti QX which have the world class technology in the SUV segment. In terms of features and specs the compact EX series is major competitor of Audi Q5 and BMW X3, while the FX series is against BMW X5 and Mercedes M Class. 

 

The number 3rd QX series which has large dimensions has competition from Mercedes GL-class and Lexus LX 570. Nissan wants to bring this luxury brand before the launch of Toyota's Lexus luxury brand in India.
