Fiat Auto Production lines at the Tychy factory has rolled out its millionth Fiat 500. The iconic model was launched in 2007, sold in 83 nations all around the globe : from Italy to Brazil, South Africa to Poland and the United States to Japan. Additionally, from 2011 the Fiat 500 has also been produced at the Mexican factory in Toluca, thus making a total production to 1,100,000 units.
One of the most fascinating example to recognize this artistry, which is headed to the Italian market, is a powerful white 135HP Abarth 500 1.4 which, along with all other models produced so far, represents an 'almost unique' piece: thanks to the thousands of possible combinations - of versions, colours, trims, engines, fuel systems and equipment. More than million units already produced, but still it is quite hard to find two identical Fiat 500s.
To confirm the same, the company has generated the number '999,999' Fiat 500 developed by the Polis factory is a 95HP S version powered by 1.3 MultiJet, in red, for an Italian customer. While the number '1,000,001' is a light blue Fiat 500C, Lounge trim level, powered by the 69HP 1.2L engine. The same will be delivered to the German customer in the next few days.
This prestigious milestone is achieved in just 5 years and 9 months from its introduction. The car has won number of awards including the auspicious 'Car of the Year 2008', and more than 325 thousand fans on the official Facebook Fan Page. The car was also became the first to offer 7 airbags as standard, the first to achieve '5 EuroNCAP stars', the first to make advanced ESP available on the entire range and the first Fiat Group car tp bring the TwinAir family of two-cylinder engines to its debut.
