Peugeot to enter in India with two new cars

Presently almost all the international major auto maker are trying to get hitched into the most developing Indian auto market and lots of international key player has launched their superb performer cars in India while some are ready to foray with their innovative cars. The European car manufacturer are especially taking interest to unveil their super luxury cars in the domestic market. After entering of Italian Maserati and British Aston Martin, French auto giant Peugeot is ready to launch its two new cars in India like Peugeot 3009 and Peugeot 508, they are under test.

First of all these cars will be exported to France, which clearly shows that these cars will come in CBU. As Korean auto manufacture SsangYong Motor, Peugeot is also mulling over to set up its CBU facility in India. To set up this manufacturing plant the company is looking at a land in Andhra Pradesh or Tamil Nadu states. It is expected that this new facility will be launched in the year of 2013 or early.

As mentioned, Peugeot to launch two new cars Peugeot 3009 and Peugeot 508 in India and both the cars are under testing. The Peugeot 3009 is an MPV which in French is also known as Peugeot T87 in French market is a 5-seater compact crossover. This new MPV will be displayed in month of September this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. After it will land in India the new car will an answer to Tata Aria and Chevrolet Captiva.

Meanwhile the second upcoming car Peugeot 508 is a Saloon D+ segment wagon which will be a major competitor to Honda Accord and Skoda Superb. It has been loaded with swept back bi-xenon directional headlamps, large interior space and large boot capacity. Both the cars have superb appearance and most advanced featured which ensure to provide excellent riding experience in the segment.

After the launch Peugeot will come with two 1.6-litre petrol's and five diesel's cars in India in 1.6 to 2.0 litres engine segment which will ensure to deliver top power of between 112 and 204PS. The company has not announced price for these car but  is expected to be priced at Rs 20 lakh.
