Polaris India launches RZR XP 900 for Rs. 24.5 lakh

Polaris India, the leading off-roader and All-Terrain vehicle manufacturer has completed two years in the Indian car market. In order to celebrate this occasion, the company has launched the RZR XP 900 at the Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, India. At the Ramoji Film City, Polaris celebrated its second anniversary in the presence of all the Polaris dealers, Polaris Riderz Stop, Polaris Experience Zone and team Polaris.
Speaking on the Occasion, Pankaj Dubey, MD, Polaris India said,“The Anniversary marks two years since the launch of the Polaris brand in India and since then, Polaris, has emerged as a market leader in ATV segment and has witnessed a good response across all its products. Looking back at the past two years, we take pride in kick starting an off road revolution in India. Polaris has responded to market trends by offering its customers the best off-road experience while ensuring safety riding, regular parts supply and service support. The celebrations are an opportunity for us to thank our customers for their enthusiasm and acceptance of our product. Under the hood, the Polaris RZR XP 900 is powered by a 975cc four stroke engine working on a twin cylinder layout. The Polaris ProStar 900 engine develops 88bhp, and features a Dual OverHead Cams (DOHC), 4 large valve-DOHC valves for high RPM and 180 degree crank shaft for balanced performance. The engine of the ATV is mated to an automatic gearbox, which transmits power to all four wheels.
The RZR XP 900 sports the Polaris exclusive optimized mass design. The engine and other parts are smartly positioned to optimize the absolute lowest centre of gravity, for the excellent performance. The new Polaris RZR XP 900 is priced at Rs. 24.50 lakh and will be available at all Polaris Dealerships across India. Polaris started its operations in the Indian market in 24 August 2011. Recently, the company has received its first commercial order in India from Gujarat Police for its model RZR S 800.
