The 2016 Ford Mustang configurator is now live and so are the official pricing. The GT350 starts at $49,995 and the track-oriented GT350R starts at $63,495. The GT350 offers two options: the Technology Package and the Track Package.Technology Package, which costs $7500 includes Sync 3, a garage-door opener, navigation, dual power seats with four-way headrests and climate control, a seven-speaker audio system with satellite radio, MagneRide, heavy-duty front springs,Ford’s Integrated Driver Control System, turn-signal mirrors, and dual-zone automatic temperature control. The Track Package features heavy-duty front springs, MagneRide, Integrated Driver Control System,a rear decklid spoiler, engine oil cooler and a strut-tower brace.
To get the GT350 in Triple Yellow, you will be charged $495, whereas all other colors like—red, light or dark gray, black, orange, blue and white are free of charge. An optional black roof costs $695, and iconic racing stripes cost $475. You can get these stripes either in white, black (edged in white) or blue (edged in black).
There are limited options for the R variant. The standard R model is striped out version of the standard GT350, so a $3000 Electronics Package helps the customer get a few creature comforts like- an audio system, Sync 3, dual-zone climate control, navigation, turn-signal mirrors, a rearview camera, auxiliary gauges, the mobility kit (tire sealant and inflator), floor mats, and a garage-door opener.
With exception to orange, the GT350R comes with all the same colors as the GT350 and “Triple Yellow” is similarly the only color that costs extra. Racing stripes cost $475 and come in white, black or blue, with red edging. The most expensive GT350R one can buy will come in the Triple Yellow color with a black roof,Technology Package and the racing stripes and would cost $66,860. All the figures mentioned above are excluding dealer mark-ups.
