The popularity of the biennial event has reached another level with 1,30,975 people visiting the Motor Show on day 3, i.e. February 07, 2016. The extreme rush owed it all to the fact that the day fell over the weekend and allowed people with ample time to pursue leisurely activities. Akshay Kumar was present on the day, which further added to the excitement. The stunt riders at the show proved to be a major hit - with bikes flying in air, mesmerising everyone present at the Expo.
The mega-event has observed some spectacular launches and unveils by carmakers, including reveal of Maruti Brezza and Toyota Innova Crysta. Tata also unveiled Hexa and Kite 5. While Hexa will lock horns with Innova, Kite 5 is capable of consuming the entire market of Swift Dzire. Tata-owned Jaguar, launched the much awaited Jaguar XE, which is now the most economical product of the company in the Indian market. The biggest attraction was concept cars, revealed by automakers for the world to witness them in their entirety.
The one-week long automobile extravagance started on February 3 and will continue till February 9, 2016.
