Reva launched NXG and NXR at Frankfurt Auto Show

As predicted, Reva Electric Car Company, based at Bangalore, showcased its new car models, Reva NXG and Reva NXR, at the Frankfurt Auto Show. These models are equipped with latest technology such as dual charge ports, intelligent digital display and keyless entry. The Reva NXG has been designed by Dilip Chhabria. Reva NXG is an M1 category, two-door, two-seater car with a targa top while Reva NXR is a M1 category three-door, four-seater hatchback family car. The company disclosed the prices of the models. Reva NXR which sports lead acid batteries will cost around Rs 7.08 lakh. Whereas Li-on variant will cost around Rs 10.6 lakh and varies across Europe. The Reva NXG has a top speed of 130 kmph along with a range of 200km (125 miles) per charge but the fast charge gives it an effective range of 320km a day. On the other hand, Reva NXG's top speed is 104 Kmph and 90 minute fast charge can give a range of 320 km a day. General Motors is also reported to launch its Chevrolet Cruze in the next month and Tata Motor is not be behind with Tata Indicruz.
