Hyundai i20 finally in India

It has finally come to the notice that the Hyundai i20 has came to the Indian market. Indian share in the car production is nearly 85 percent which is usually manufactured along with the Hyundai i10 at the manufacturing unit present at Hyundai's plant situated at nearby Chennai. At present both the models of the company are being manufactured in India. The records for the manufacturing of the car were all decided at the time of the launch of the car model variant. Hyundai i20 been launched at the last month of December of the previous year. According to most of the comapny officials the last month of every year is considered to be a month of low sales and all with it the recession of Hyundai i20 is a big step according to the company officials. Besides this the company is also working along with the Automotive Mission Plan of the central government. It is expected that the company is going to launch more than one type of model in a single car segment category. Considering the present situation it has Santro and i10 in the same car segment. Besides these Accent and Verna are the other expected options to come in the same car segment car category. In the latest situations Getz and the i20 are in the list of B-Segment category cars. Hyundai i20 the latest technology car equipped with Kappa engine is thought to be the one among the best eco-friendly cars, which are also fuel efficient. In present situations the company has nearly six different types of  engines, them being 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine, a 1.4 litre and another 1.6 litre petrol engine. Considering the diesel engine types we have 1.4 low speed diesel, 1.4 litre high-speed diesel, and one another is a 1.6 litre diesel engine. Available all across the world, the different thing about it is that it does not have a diesel version for its i20 in India. Still rumours are also coming regarding the launch of a diesel version of i10 in India till by 2009.
