Skoda Reveals Sketch of Fabia

Skoda, the Czech manufacturer has officially revealed the sketch of its upcoming hatchback Skoda Fabia. The first design of sketch gives a hint of crispness of a small car with typical Skoda styling cues. According to the manufacturers, its the first time that the designers have incorporated style elements from the Skoda VisionC show car. The amalgamation of Skoda VisionC and Skoda motorsport have provided a strong foundation in the development of new model. This unique combination adds more to the overall dynamic character of the car.
With the sketch online, one thing is clear that the designers at Skoda have really worked hard on bringing something new to the upcoming car. The sharp edges and new crystalline shape is something to look forward to. The new Skoda Fabia is now nine centimeters wider and three centimeters lower. According to the automaker, the interiors are also designed from the core with enough room left for personal customization. While under the hood, the car is expected to share the engine specification with the VW Polo. The new Skoda Fabia is slated for debut at the Paris Motor Show in October this year.
In India, the auto maker will launch the Yeti facelift later this year. The car is already showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo alongside the updated Skoda Superb. The company has already launched the Superb while the Yeti launch is scheduled in coming months. Yeti adorns the Czech company's new face. It is also getting LED treatment, headlights features day-time-running-LEDs and LED taillamps.
The manufacturer is also readying the Rapid facelift. This C segment car is expected to borrow the engine specification from new 1.5-litre TDI engine which does duty in the recently launched Polo facelift. With the new models coming, Skoda looks to make some sales in the upcoming months.
