Suzuki to showcase the SWIFT S-Concept at the Geneva International Motor Show

Suzuki the Japanese auto giant has set the stage at the 81st Geneva International Motor Show to showcase the new prototype christened as SWIFT S-CONCEPT. The Indian arm of the company Maruti also runs a popular car model of the above in the hatchback segment named as Maruti Swift. The new SWIFT S-Concept will be established on the new Swift which the Japanese auto maker has already started with its marketing in the European auto markets in 2010 autumn. Suzuki works on brand philosophy of rendering excitement, the company was working with an overall manufacturing of the concept of a stylish sport compact car which will deliver excellent performance. Suzuki also wishes to showcase Swift (Maruti Swift in India), Alto (Maruti Alto in India), Kizashi (Maruti Kizashi in India), Jimny (Maruti Jimny in India), Splash, Grand Vitara (Maruti Grand Vitara) and SX4 (Maruti SX4).
Suzuki Motors is performing quite well as it recorded a hike of 31 per cent in its net profit in the third quarter. This seems to be perfect time when the auto company is enjoying increasing sales graph and enhancing its portfolio.
The Indian counterpart of the company Maruti Suzuki is also performing quite well in the domestic auto market with increasing sales figures and strengthening on the array of cars it offers. Maruti will launch the diesel version of its popular sedan Maruti SX4 Diesel which possess DDiS and ZDi. The diesel saloon will be equipped with Fiat mill 90 bhp, 1.3 multi jet diesel also comes in Fiat Linea and the new Tata Manza. As per the sources Maruti SX4 will be lighter than 70 kg which will help the sedan in delivering excellent fuel economy and better performance.
Maruti Suzuki India commenced the year by posting sales of 109,743 units for January 2011 which has once again made the car brand number one. The company exported 9321 units and particularly for the Maruti SX4 car models 2159 units were sold.
