Tata Motors launches new Indica V2 in Nepal

We reported earlier that Tata Motors is working aggressively to enhance its market share in the international markets. In order to achieve its ambition, Tata Motors launched the updated Indica as the Tata Indica V2 NA MY13 in the Nepali auto market. It is the second consecutive Tata vehicle launch in Nepal this month. Few days back, it introduced the Xenon Pick-Up. The Indica V2 NA MY13 was introduced at the 2013 Nepal Automobiles Dealers Association auto show, and the sales of the vehicle has also started.

In Nepal, the Tata Indica V2 NA MY13 is available in two variants- LX and LS. Both variants are powered by a 1.4-litre diesel engine that is capable of developing 48.2bhp at 5,000RPM and 85Nm of top torque at 2,500rpm.

The updated Indica was revealed at the HORIZONEXT event earlier this year at Tata's Pune plant. The new Indica comes equipped with ORVMs with turn indicators, triple-stepped chrome tipped radiator grille, chrome garnish at rear, fours-spoke steering wheel, luxurious dual tone interiors, new transmission with smart-shift gear technology, new dual path suspension, power windows and others.
