Tata Motors Telco Workers Union sign a memorandum of settlement

The management of Tata Motors and the Telco Workers Union have signed a memorandum of settlement. This memorandum has been signed for the wage revision of the employees of TWU (Telco Workers Union).
The company officials in Jamshedpur commented on Thursday that the settlement will be in effect from April 1, 2010 and will continue till March 31, 2013. A minimum
guaranteed fitment benefit of Rs 1800 is included in this settlement. Also included is one increment in the revised grade whereas the fitment benefit for temporary employees will be Rs 1250.
The general secretary of Telco Workers Union (TWU) said that around 10,000 employees would be benefited from this settlement.
