Tata Motors to upgrade its SUV range, Nissan Duster coming in October

Tata Motors will upgrade its existing range of SUVs, by giving them a facelift. The Safari had recently got an upgrade with the Storme and soon, the other products will be in line. First of them all is the Sumo Gold, and then the Aria and Grande will follow. On the other hand, the Nissan’s version of Duster is coming in October. The Japanese manufacturer will ensure that this version will differ in styling from that of the French designed SUV. This SUV is slated to launch in October, just before the festive season.  Apart from this, we drive the new Range Rover Sport in the UK before its official arrival in India sometime in September.

Nissan's Duster coming in October

Nissan’s version of the Duster, as it is project named as NH79, will be launched sometime in October, during the festive season. The NH79, will have an absolutely new fascia, that will resemble Nissan’s existing SUV, the X-Trail. Nissan plans make a complete overhaul of the Duster, and blend it Nissan’s styling. Read more

Toyota Planning to Launch Compact SUV and More Small Cars in India

World's leading carmaker, Toyota Motor Corporation is planning to enter into the growing compact SUV segment and launch more small cars to gain market share in India, according to a report published in ET. However, the company is waiting for the right time before finalizing to set up a new diesel engine plant in the country or launching more hybrid cars due to the absence of unclear fuel and import tariff policy in India. Maruti Suzuki Beat The Heat campaign to connect with customers

We reported earlier that the country's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has been focusing more on after sales service, and now it is evident as the company is organizing a first of its kind “Beat The Heat” campaign at its 3,000 service workshops across India. Through the campaign the company will offer a range of services including free checking of air-conditioner, free top wash, TrueValue evaluation and exchange. The camps will be held on 25th and 26th May 2013 across the country. In “Beat The Heat” free check-up camps, trained Maruti Suzuki service team will check air conditioning system in Maruti Suzuki vehicles and will also suggest remedial measures, as required,to achieve optimum performance and comfort level. Fiat India to Open 125 Dealerships by 2013 end

Fiat India has been working very proactively on expanding its dealership base in the country, as they want to make sure that they have enough dealer point before they launch all the upcoming cars they are planning. Fiat Group has now said that is is planning to expand its network to 125 dealerships across the country by 2013 end, in order to capture 5 per cent market share in the Indian market in next three years.
