Tata Nano CNG emax launched for Rs. 2.45 lakh

Tata Motors, India's leading car maker has today launched the CNG version of the country's most affordable small car, the Nano. The CNG version of the vehicle is now available in two different variants - CX and LX.
Tata Nano emax CNG was earlier unveiled at the Horizonext where the company unveiled a total 8 vehicles. The vehicle looks more refreshed, and it offers a CO2 emission of only 75g/km. The Nano emax CNG also comes equipped with an automatic cut-off system and fuel quality checking system. The vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 32-litres, and is capable of developing a massive fuel efficiency of 36km/kg (ARAI Certified).
The Nano emax CNG is being offered with a combination of 624cc petrol + CNG motor. While in petrol mode, the small car is capable of developing a maximum power output of 37.5bhp, in CNG mode, it develops 32.5bhp and 45Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed (4 Forward and 1 reverse) manual transmission.

While the Tata Nano CNG CX version is tagged at Rs. 2.45 lakh, the LX variant is priced at Rs. 2.72 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom, Ahmedabad.
