The world’s cheapest hatchback, Tata Nano had been caught in flames numerous times in the recent past. After that, the Tata Nano sales were reported to dip gradually over a period of time. However, the sales have picked up drastically by over 30% in the month of October from September’s 2,936 units to 3,868 in the month of October. The leading domestic car manufacturer, Tata Motors have put in best of their efforts to overcome the technical failure in the small car by incorporating various fire proofing methods.

Now that Tata Nano sales have gained momentum, hopefully Tata Motors is more optimistic in launching the refreshed version of Tata Nano. According to the latest reports, Tata Nano V2 had been spotted during the test rounds. Quite a few alterations are noted in the new version of the small car. The rear end of Tata Nano V2 now sports a bumper with its extended flaps to cover the Tata Nano engine. There is another rumour about the new Tata Nano sporting a right hand side rear view mirror, which was missing earlier.
