Tata Motors India needs to make a sale of about 150,000 Tata Nano units every year or let just say 12,500 Nanos every month if it wishes to earn a hefty amount of profit in the country. Tata Nano is manufactured at its exclusive manufacturing unit located in Sanand Gujarat, which has the capability to churn out about 250,000 units of Tata Nanos every year. This figure could be amplified by a whopping 1 lakh more units to touch the mammoth figure of 350,000 Nano units annually. Last year, the company was going through a rough patch but with the introduction of 2012 Tata Nano the sales have been showing some signs of improvements.

Presently, Tata Motors has successfully established about 120 exclusive dealerships for Tata Nano across the country and the introduction of new dealerships will touch the figure of 350 by early 2013. This will certainly prove to be a positive move for the firm and Tata Nano being a low cost car; it makes it more potential for the Indian consumers.
