The all new Audi A8 L launched today

The German luxury car manufacturer Audi, has launched the latest model Audi A8 L sedan in India. Audi has already set a benchmark in the luxury car segment in India and this new Audi A8 L has been designed keeping that in mind. Audi A8 L is powered with 4.2 FSI petrol engine, and is likely to priced at Rs. 89,00,000. The all new Audi A 8 L was revealed at Audi Delhi, the country's largest luxury car showroom.

Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, mentioned to the reporters that they have a high expectation with the new Audi A8 L. The company looks forward to building a strong grip in the Indian car market with the launch of the luxury sedan. Audi, so far has managed to create a strong place in the Luxury car segment in India and have high hopes to further strengthen their hold in the market with the launch of the new Audi A8 L. With the success of the Audi Q7 , leader in the SUV segment , the company has proved how strong their brand value is and they wish to take it further with Audi A8 L.

Wheelbase and length both have been stretched by 13 centimeters, offering increased comfort to rear seat passengers. Preschke further added that Audi is a brand known for its style and design, the new Audi A8 L will redefine the the contemporary luxury in the Indian auto industry. Audi A8 L is a blend of sophistication, elegance, technology and comfort.

Audi A 8 has already bagged a couple of awards, some of these are:Award for Design Excellence at Detroit Auto Show, “Corporate-Fleet-Award 2010“ at German Magazine “AUTOFLOTTE,  Euro Car Body Award at 12th International Car-Body Benchmarking Conference, Golden Steering Wheel 2010 and Telematics Award 2010 for Best Embedded Telematics Navigation Product“  (MMI) at Telematics Update, Dearborn, USA

Perschke also informed the reporters that the company has adapted a completely different strategy for the marketing of the stunner. The new Audi A8 L feature India’s first full 3D integrated campaign, from a 3D brochure to 3D film.

The body of the Audi A8 L has been made of aluminium making it 40 per cent lighter. The stunning LED headlights in the Audi A 8 L are optional. The powerful 4.2 FSI V8 engine with a displacement of 4.2 litres allows an output of 273 KW (372 hp). Audi A 8 L is likely to be launched with W 12 engine and 3.0 TDI engine in the coming time.

Valcona leather has been used on the seats and brushed aluminium along with fine wood is used in the optional inlays. The 22 way adjustibility allows ample amount of additional head, shoulder, foot and knee space. Some additional features like intelligent ways with high- strength body, innovative night vision assistance and pre sense basic safety system make the new Audi A 8 L more safe.
