Ford India is planning real big surprises for its Indian customers by launching some of the best car models in this auto market. Moreover the company has plans to launch a total of 8 new Ford models in Indian auto market by 2015. So the calculations say that every year will at least bring two new models from company’s stable. On the list first of course stand 2011 Ford Fiesta Sedan which will make its appearance in the month of July or August. Then second on the list stands the all new Ford Focus saloon which is claimed by reliable industry sources.

The all new Ford Focus has come into light as it was spotted many a times taking rigorous tests on roads of Chennai and around with camouflage on. The presence of this car model on Indian roads was also confirmed by a Ford India representative. If the car make its official entry in the next year, it will gun the likes of much famous D-segment in Indian Auto Market including Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Laura, Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, the Honda Civic and Renault Fluence which is about to get its launch. This is a long list of competition which the company has to handle with the launch of Ford Focus.

Addressing the issue, Mr Michael Boneham who heads Ford India commented that EcoBoost engines of Ford will make a way into the Indian auto market soon. He then denied disclosing the name of Ford model which will showcase this new engine technology of the company. The company’s official also commented that Ford India is working towards the C-platform and CD-platform cars for India. The speculations also say that the company may also bring Ford Focus powered with de-facto 2 liter TDCI Diesel engine which is capable of producing 138 Bhp power. The price tag of this car will be same as current D segmenters!
