The all new Toyota Corolla launch delayed due to component shortage

Toyota, one of the leading automobile manufacturing company has revealed news related to the launch of the upgraded version of its flagship Toyota Corolla. Toyota Corolla is one of the largest selling car of the company which has got superb response from the international as well as Indian automobile market.

Recession that haunted the economy of many nations, could not affect the sales of Toyota Corolla car in the Indian auto market. Due to components shortage, the launch of the new Toyota Corolla was postponed. The car was expected to be launched  next month. Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Mr. Sandeep Singh revealed recently that the launch of the latest Toyota Corolla is postponed and the company will be selling the existing model of the car.

The exact date of the launch will be fixed towards the end of May. He further stated that the new Toyota Corolla will undergo certain cosmetic changes along with the transmission system that has been upgraded. The new Toyota Corolla is also expected to be upgraded with some other features that are not yet revealed.

The company is also mulling to bring some major changes in the new Toyota Corolla which will be launched soon in the automobile market. The natural calamity that hit Japan last month could be one of the reasons for the shortage of components for the new Toyota Corolla. The scheduled time was postponed as many production plants of the company in Japan were heavily affected by the earthquake and Tsunami. Till the company announces the launch of the new Toyota Corolla, the car lovers need to wait for it.
