A special edition of the Toyota Etios Cross named “Dynamique” is slated to be launched in India, soon. The upcoming crossover hatchback will remain mechanically unchanged, but will incorporate aesthetic and feature updates on the outside and inside of the car. Speaking of the updates, the new car will incorporate black-finished door handles and wing mirrors. The roof rails of the car will also flaunt black inserts and the c-pillar of the crossover hatch will flaunt a ‘Dynamique’ badge. Toyota will offer this iteration of Etios Cross in two colour schemes viz. Inferno Orange and White. This update will help the automaker provide a dual-tone cabin upholstery, which is exclusive to the colour scheme selected for the body of the car.
The car will feature a black and orange upholstery for the Inferno Orange variant, whereas the white model will be offered with a black and greige upholstery. Other updates that have made their way inside the cabin includes - parking sensors, chrome accents on the gear knob, footwell lighting, etc. Even the footwell lighting is exclusive to the body paint scheme selected. The Inferno Orange model will feature orange lights, whereas the white model will be offered with blue footwell lighting.
Under the hood, Toyota Etios Cross Dynamique will continue incorporating the range of powerplant options, which are seen in current models. This includes two petrol motors viz. 1.2-litre 78.90bhp and 1.5-litre 88.76bhp engines. The diesel duties will be undertaken by a 1.4-litre, 67.06bhp 8V D-4D engine. In terms of its petrol powerplants, Etios Cross outshines the likes of Cross Polo, only to have its 1.4-litre D-4D diesel be outperformed by the 1.5-litre TDI mill, seen in the German offering.
