1st December is the day when Toyota is launching its most awaited and sought after sedan, Etios. The big launch will be held in Bangalore and this is also the time when Toyota will declare the hatchback version of Etios to be named 'Liva'. In the big event, Toyota will officially unveil hatchback and saloon version of Etios. Just as Dzire is the hatchback version of Maruti Swift, similarly, Liva is going to be the hatchback version of Toyota Etios. Toyota Etios is going to be a strong model in its segment because of high quality features and beautiful exterior. Toyota Etios Liva is a model which is powered by 1.2 litre engine churning out 80bhp of power. The fuel efficiency of this model is simply outstanding which will give you best option to go for among this ranged models. This is not all, Toyota Etios Liva is claimed to be the most spacious car in its segment, this simply assures a smooth and comfortable drive to its users. The interior designing of this beautiful car makes all possible arrangements to give you most comfortable drive. The interior can be traced from Etios saloon version.

Among the future plans of Toyota, they have 1.4 diesel engine for Etios Liva and saloon version in coming times. The diesel version bears similarities with Corolla diesel but might not get the similar variable geometry turbo (VGT).

Adding to the speculations, Toyota might also launch the saloon’s 1.5-litre, 88.7bhp engine in Etios Liva to spice up the model at later stage. The beautiful compact car is designed to target masses in India and it is evident from it fuel efficiency offering 12 kmpl mileage in city and 16 kmpl on highway. The model is called to be people's car with high performance, eye-catching interior, great power and a value to money. When the two models of Toyota Etios were displayed at Auto Expo 2010, it created big excitement among audience with its beautiful designing. At this event, Toyota Etios Sedan was flaunting pure white color whereas Liva was dazzling in beautiful blue shade.
