Toyota Etios Sedan bookings mounting up

Toyota Motors, the Japanese automobile makers in India launched Toyota Etios in India recently with its partner Kirlsokar group is busy in getting orders for the new sedan. The auto giant has its office in Bangalore, is still to enter the mass driven segment and is ready to face the stringent competition in the auto market. As per a popular tabloid, the challenge lies in the on time delivery to its customers. As per the reports, the company has received order for 14,000 car bookings and expects to close around 17,000 cars by December. In April, it will launch Toyota Etios Liva, for which the bookings is expected to cross the sedan's order. It is expected that the low version of the car is expected to priced at Rs 4 lakh which is sure to attract buyers. As per the reports, Toyota Motors will be setting a target of 70,000 cars manufacturing for Toyota Etios by next year, as it expect a huge order backlog for the small car as well. As per the speculations the wait for Toyota Etios the sedan can be of 6 months.

As per the reports, it says that, around 65 per cent of the high end variant is booked for Toyota Etios and 30 per cent for the mid variant. The low end version of the sedan is priced around Rs 5 lakh which only registers a booking of five per cent. The report states that, the company is keen on establishing the sedan Toyota Etios and the hatchback Toyota Etios Liva in the II and III Tier cities of India. It is expected that, in future these cities will hold a lot of potential for the car makers. Mr Singh, added that, the company will stick to Q class experience which is quality even if it price its car quite competitive. Toyota has refused to cut down on the quality of its products which it stands for. It is also heard that, the Japanese auto giant will arch its decision on the Toyota Etios diesel car model by March, 2011.
