Toyota may manufacture Camry in India

One of the largest car manufacturer of the world Toyota may consider manufacturing its famous model Toyota Camry in India. According to deputy managing director of Toyota Motors' Indian subsidiary. According to company by this move the company will manage to escape the hughe import duty. It is expected that the company will manage to bring down prices of its models by 4%-5% which is around Rs 4 to 5 lakh.

Currently the camry model is imported from Japan and it attracts an impor duty of 110%. Currently the price of the Camry model is priced at Rs 21 lakh and it is competing with models like Mercedes Benz C Class and Skoda Laura.

I am interested in Purchase of a CAMRY. 1.I need to know when this will be indeginously available and what will be the reduction from the present price. 2.When are you launching the next update of CAMRY. Once I get this feedback I could take a call.
