Toyota Motors grabs number one position on TNS report

Toyota Motors the worlds biggest auto mobile maker is still winning the consumers satisfaction according to the TNS DSS 2010 report released today (11th January, 2011). And the second position was gripped by the Korean auto company Hyundai Motors by improving its ranks from 2008.
TNS Automotive independently conducts the Four Wheeler Dealer Satisfaction Study for knowing the satisfaction level of the Passenger Vehicle includes Cars, SUVs and MUVs dealerships. The TNS Automotive is keeping a track on the dealer-principal relationship from 2002 by giving a magnifying view of the relationships in all these years.
Pradeep Saxena the Executive Director, TNS Automotive said that the study will help the auto manufacturer in judging the strength with its dealers. He also said that in the recent system of the auto brand exclusive dealerships in this competitive auto market, it is very important to maintain the relations with existing channel partners especially with the entry of the biggest international auto firms like Nissan Motors and Volkswagen investing in the domestic auto market.
When looked at the study report, it gives the information on the satisfaction scores. It is designed in a way which offers critical feedback on the dealers' expectation and wishes from the auto mobile manufacturers. The 2010 DSS explains various aspects and shows how it has switched over time.
2010 TNS Automotive Syndicated Dealer Satisfaction Study was conducted pan India which helped in covering huge spectrum of the passenger car dealerships of the leading auto manufacturing companies. The study was also conduced in the 2 & 3 Tier cities along with I Tier cities and metros. It shows the auto market of India is wide spreading.
Dealer Principals were asked to judge the performance of the automobile makers on areas such as dealership operations, the profitability with the overall relationship between the two. The sample of the study accounted to 492 dealerships in more than 76 towns of India.
2010 a remarkable year for the Indian auto sector also helped in building stronger relations with dealers. It can be stated as the relationship levels among all the auto mobile makers. The TRIM score raised to 84 in 2010 from 74 in 2008.
