Vishnu Prasad wins 1st race in Round 6 of Volkswagen JK Tyre Polo Cup India 2010 at Chennai

At the conclusion of 1st race in 6th round of Volkswagen JK Tyre Polo Cup India 2010, Vishnu Prasad stood out as a dazzling contender by holding the top position in it. The top contenders showed great skills and talent on road and with that the second position was grabbed by Sailesh Bolisetti by beating Parth Ghorpade and maintaining a gap of 2 points. A 30second penalty was given to Parth Ghorpade after skipping the start and he managed to complete the race at 9th position. Vishnu Prasad won audience heart by counting a time of 00:24:50.051.

The major rival Sailesh Bolisetti showcased an outstanding performance by counting a total time of 0.250 seconds against the champion Vishnu Prasad. The 3rd position was taken over by Karthik Shankar, who was again a top performer during the entire race. Dr. John Chacko, the Volkswagen Group Chief Representative India graced the occasion and flagged the race along with the heartthrob Karun Chandhok, the Formula One Driver.

Race was full of excitement and verve as the Indian racers were on the top of their performance trying their best to grab the big titile. During the entire race, Vishnu Prasad worked at his best to lead the potential contender Sailesh Bolisetti. And the spectacular leader of the race Parth Ghorpade had to suffer hard with the penalty which resulted in landing up to 9th place.

Pointing towards the race, Vishnu Prasad commented that the race today was too exciting with cut edge competition and the second half of the race became a little tough for him owing to the tyre pressure. According to the second winner Sailesh Bolisetti, the race was too close and he was happy that he maintains a difference of just 2 points from the champion Parth. He also said that he will try his best to overtake him in next race. Karun Chandhok from Formula 1 race commented that its a delight to see premium brand like Volkswagen promoting car races in India and agreed that it will prove to be a great platform for upcoming Indian drivers.
