Volkswagen India continues its success story

Volkswagen an world renowned German auto maker has marked its successful presence in India once again. The People's Car as it is known in Germany, has achieved a growth in sales of 131.9 per cent in its first nine months. Volkswagen Group (India ) has successfully delivered 32,359 cars to its customers from January to September. It includes Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen, which together have successfully delivered 32,359 cars in comparison to the last year's sale from January to September of 13,956 cars.

Volkswagen is cementing its success story in India by becoming the most saleable brand. The sales graph is on an all time high. Lets now look at the different cars brands sold under the Volkswagen Group India.

Volkswagen recorded highest sales of 15,957 this year which was only 2,201 corresponding period last year. It has made a whooping growth of 602.5 per cent. Audi sales went up to 63.4 per cent in just nine months of 2010 by selling 2,178 cars which was 1,333 last year. Skoda sales shot up to 14,224 units against the last year's 10,415 cars. Looking at the sales figures, the brand is sure to write a success story by adding more pages in the coming time.

From the company's stable, it was Volkswagen Polo that achieved maximum sales. This powerhouse car maker's new generation Polo comes with advanced features, stunning looks and is a comfort machine. Volkswagen Polo manufactured in Chakan plant, Pune comes in petrol and diesel versions and is designed for excellence. Another best seller from Volkswagen Group, Volkswagen Jetta that came in 2008, is assembled in the Aurngabad plant. This car reflects true sophistication which comes in petrol and diesel variants.

Soka Fabia and Skoda Laura did the job for Skoda by becoming the most saleable cars. The Skoda Fabia is one of the most likeable hatchback cars with its stylish looks and high technology. The car that comes in petrol and diesel models is also manufactured at the Chakan Plant, Pune. Skoda Laura, the definition of luxury is a loved four wheeler which comes in petrol and diesel engines.

Audi one of the most luxurious cars, loved worldwide, is one of the best sellers in India. Its models Audi A4 and Audi A6 are one of the largest selling models. The Audi A4 and Audi A6 is assembled in the Aurangabad plant with Audi Q5. It also holds a strong position in the Luxury SUV car segment with Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 versions.

Volkswagen Group has completed a decade in India and is spreading its wings rapidly. The car has18 models in offering, right from luxury sedans to the small hatchback cars. The success of the Volkswagen Group success in India is attributed to the distinctive models which give value for money and satisfaction to its customers.
