Volkswagen JK Tyre Polo Cup to conclude on 19th Dec in Chennai

The heartland of motorsports, MMSC Irungattukottai Race Track situated at Sriperumbudur, Chennai is all set to flag off the final round of most awaited Polo Cup India 2010. the coming Sunday will conclude the 6th and the last round of this exciting race which will be attended by many famous personalities and car enthusiasts. The candidates on 1st and 2nd position are at a slight difference of 26 points and a 7 point difference is lined up between the 3rd and 4th winner. The 5 rounds of Polo Cup India 2010 championship revealed interesting results and now people are waiting for the grand finale to know the ultimate champion.

The race organized last weekend revealed Parth Ghorpade standing on top with a difference of 26 points against Sailesh Bolisetti, the 5 times race winner. Both the champions are working hard to take away the crown and to support them fans are pulling their sleeves up. The candidates fighting for the third position is Vishnu Prasad, last weekend's winner and Sahil Shellar.

Addressing the big event, Mr. Prithviraj Siddappa who is the Head of Motorsports in Volkswagen India commented that the major purpose of organizing this big race is to realise the hidden potential in India, and the racers have already astound the viewers with their tremendous performance and unbeatable talent. He also said that such close competition in the first ever Volkswagen JK Tyre Polo Cup India has increased the level of verve among viewers. He also declared that the winner of this race will get an enumerable opportunity to participate even in next series which will be organized by Volkswagen across the globe.

The 6th round fought last weekend brought 17-year Parth Ghorpade shining on the top by exhibiting some spectacular driving tricks an techniques. He managed to overtake the champion Sailesh Bolisetti but Sailesh also dint leave the ground easily and made the success tough for Parth.

The first ever Polo Cup on Indian ground is a part of is the JK Tyre National Racing Championship. It has become the talk of town these days with great enthusiasm among the participants and viewers.  

Volkswagen India has taken a huge step by organizing this spectacular race on Indian grounds which has its foot prints on international grounds. The race has a strong tradition of recognising and nourishing hidden talent and with this race in India, the Indian talent will be exhibited on national grounds as well.
