Volkswagen Polo at Delhi Auto Expo

Volkswagen has recently launched its compact car Volkswagen Beetle in India and it is all set to showcase its second launch at Delhi Auto Expo in January 2010. The second launch after Volkswagen Beetle will be Volkswagen Polo - the first family car from VW in India. At present, the company sells Volkswagen Jetta and Volksawagen Passat in India. The Volkswagen Polo which falls in the A2 segment of compact cars in India, has to compete with Fiat Punto and Maruti Swift. However, the commercial launch of the car would be held in March 2010. Apart from Volkswagen Polo, the company is believed to display Volkswagen Touareg, Volkswagen Up! and Volkswagen Golf at Delhi Auto Expo. The Volkswagen Up! is likely to be placed below Volkswagen Polo. But both Volkswagen Up! and Volkswagen Golf are doubtful to be launched in India. However, the company will display the products at the show for sure. Meanwhile, confirmed media reports says that Maruti Suzuki will showcase its Maruti Eeco in the gala event at Delhi.
