Volkswagen has recently announced the Polo R Line which looks like it has been prepared for a race. The SEL trim forms the basis of this newfangled Volkswagen Polo R Line which is available in two body styles with three and five doors. The car gets a new and unique body with freshly designed front and rear bumpers, an attractive front grille well finished in glossy black and 16-inch alloy wheels and all of these makes this car pretty superior in styling in comparison of the SEL trim. The front of the Polo R Line sports a cornering function in the foglamps, a privacy glass that embellishes the R badging and the black detailing on the car.
The car has been bestowed with au courant features like remote central locking, black rooflining, steering wheel with leather trims, pedals and scuff plates capped with aluminum, cloth sport seats, iPod connectivity on six-speaker stereo, trip computer and semi-automatic air-conditioning. The five door version of the car has full electric windows as an extra feature. The entire Volkswagen Polo R Line derives power from the 1.2-liter petrol engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and generates a power of 105 PS. In terms of the performance Polo R Line pretty much follows the suite of Volkswagen Polo SEL with a top speed of 118mph and 9.7 seconds as 0-62mph time; the Polo R Line also returns 53.3mpg with 124g/km. The expected prices of VW Polo R Line start at £15,815 for the five-door version and at £15,195 for the three-door version. This new car is currently being sold but the actual deliveries will begin in July.
