The Deep Black exterior shade is now available with the Topline variants of the Taigun and Virtus.

Customers need to shell out up to Rs 32,000 more for the Deep Black Pearl exterior shade of the top-spec 1-litre Volkswagen Virtus.

For the Taigun’s top-spec 1-litre variant in the Deep Black Pearl shade, you will need to pay up to Rs 25,000 more.

This colour can be had with both manual and automatic transmission variants of both models.
In June 2023, the Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus got the Deep Black Pearl exterior shade with their GT Line variants. Now, the automaker has extended this colour option to the 1-litre versions of both models. However, this shade is still limited to the Topline variants of both the Taigun and Virtus, which also come with some additional features. Let's take a look at their prices.

For the Deep Black Pearl variant of the Volkswagen Virtus, customers need to shell out up to Rs 32,000 more, while for the Taigun Deep Black Pearl colour, they cost up to Rs 25,000 more. For reference, the 1-litre Deep Black Pearl variants of the Virtus and Taigun start up to Rs 2.2 lakh lower than their respective 1.5-litre models.

Feature Highlights
The Topline trims of both the Virtus and Taigun boasts amenities like the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, single-pane sunroof, powered front seats, cruise control, and illuminated footwell. The safety of these models is taken care of by 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), rear view camera, and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers.

Powertrain Details
Both cars come with the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine rated at 115 PS and 178 Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter. They also get a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (150 PS / 250 Nm) option with their GT variants. This engine comes with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
