Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Nissan, BMW and Audi are magnetizing Maruti and Mahindra & Mahindra dealers in there clans. These foreign auto companies are doing so to acquire better locations and increased sales figures.

Bhasin Motors, New Delhi-based dealer who showcased Mahindra & Mahindra car brand for eight years has now tied up with Volkswagen. Now in its four storey building it will make two showrooms one will sport the Indian car brand and the other will exhibit the German car brand.

In Mumbai also the same scenario has been witnessed Shaman Auto has joined hands with Honda and Volkswagen leaving the old horse Tata Motors. Ratan Motors has shook hands with General Motors.

As per Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) 20 per cent of the dealership is owned by the multinational auto mobile companies in Mumbai. As per a Mumbai based car dealer the present car markets are scary. The auto giants are willing to expand fast even in non-metro cities.

The international auto companies are shunning the domination of Indian companies in terms of network in the domestic auto market. Tata Motors, M&M and Maruti Suzuki had a strong hold with 90 per cent of the dealership which has dramatically went down at 80 per cent.
