Weekly Wrap-Up: 2014 CarDekho Accolade Winners Announced, Honda Amaze CNG, Nano Twist Launched and more

The 2nd week of February started with the big news at CarDekho.com, one of the most noted personalities of the Indian Automobile fraternity Mr. Ratan Tata invested in CarDekho. The collaboration certainly brings in Mr. Tata’s vision about the industry and his guidance for our esteemed portal. 2014 CarDekho Accolade, the biggest reader’s choice award in the country, also concluded this week with more than 3 lac car aficionados having participated to choose their favourite vehicles across 14 car and 5 bike categories.  

Skoda India announced big discounts and offers on its mid-sized Rapid, which will end on 28th Feb. The offers include extended warranty, periodic maintenance scheme, roadside assistance and low-interest rate for 4 years. Tata launched a new variant of its affordable compact hatch Nano called Twist XE, it is the most affordable hatchback with a power steering in India at a base price of Rs. 2.06 lac. Mercedes-Benz launched the diesel trim of its popular sedan C-Class, the 2015 addition comes with a slew of changes both at exteriors and interiors. Rolls Royce also expanded its line-up with its Ghost Series II at an astonishing price of Rs. 4.5 crore. The biggest launch of the week was the much-awaited CNG variant of Honda Amaze. Honda launched the new CNG variant at Rs. 6.54 Lacs, which will contribute to its sales.

Official: 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift to launch on February 18th

After a lot of speculations about its launch date, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has finally confirmed that the updated Verna will reach the dealerships on February 18th. Indian Car Sales Analysis : January, 2015

Is Mahindra's Next-Gen Bolero getting an AMT?

Mahindra Bolero (Next-Gen, Code Name: U301) that have been spotted testing several times, is yet again snapped and this time the pictures reveal its interiors.
