As the year is about to end, carmakers in order to clear the stocks are offering lucrative discounts on their selected model line-up. Ford India is offering attractive discount on Figo, Classic, Fiesta, EcoSport and Endeavour. The Blue Oval company calls it ‘Diwali Returns’ while for Kerala its ‘Onam Returns’. Other automakers such as Chevrolet and Toyota also joined the race to offer mouth watering deals. Hyundai beaming high on the success of Elite i20 has retailed more than 56,000 units in just four months since its launch while India’s largest passenger carmaker Maruti Suzuki sold 5,232 units of Ciaz in November, 2014. In the ultra luxury segment, Porsche India has launched the updated Cayenne at a starting price of INR 1.04 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hyundai Retails 10,500 Elite i20s in November, Cumulative Sales up by 8.7%!
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) registers a cumulative growth of 8.7 per cent in the month of November, 2014. The country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter sold 35,511 vehicles last month and exported 18,500 vehicles with a cumulative sales of 54,011 units.
