World Sees The BMW 7 Series Facelift With The Official Video Release

The extended version of 2013 BMW 7 series now sports new front and rear ends, upgraded interior, new equipment and new engines to give the car a new fresh look. The exterior has full-LED headlights comprising hallmark BMW corona rings, the front bumper has a new fascia design, the design of the side mirror is also new, kidney grille has nine slats instead of 12 and a redesigned rear bumper fascia along with chrome strips and reflectors on the car.
The interior has all new designed leather seats with extra sound proofing and a Rear Seat Entertainment package which has the capacity to delivers 1,200-watts through a Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System via 16 speakers. This also includes a new 9.2 inch flat screen monitor and an illuminated center speaker. The central control display uses a 10.25-inch screen and features new black-panel technology which has a high-resolution 3D graphics.
The car has a TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder 7 series diesel engine which produces 381 HP of power. The world's most powerful six-cylinder in-line 3.0 liter diesel engine has a torque of 740 Nm. The 750d xDrive has a pickup of 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 4.9 seconds. The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is the second generation hybrid drive system which is using the TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine instead of the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine which was used in the first version of the car.
The other components of the car comprises of the 55 HP (40 kW / 54 bhp) synchronous electric motor with hybrid-specification of eight-speed automatic transmission and a Hybrid Start Stop function. A lithium-ion high-performance battery and power electronics underpinning Brake Energy Regeneration system has also been implemented in the car. The ActiveHybrid 7 can travel up to four kilometers which is less than 2.5 miles on battery power alone. Top speed in this mode is limited up to 60 km/h which is 37 mph.
